Most of you have probably been keeping up with this.

Go F Me stole 9.5 million from the truckers. Now the PTB have frozen 8 milllion in their Give Send Go account.

Then we have DHS issuing the new domestic terrorism warning, claiming anti vaxxers, protesters and those who spread misinformation are a threat to national security.

Things are reaching critical mass.

Hmeland InSecurity is already mobilizing against U.S. truckers, who haven't even started protesting yet.

Quote
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is preemptively mobilizing against a potential protest by U.S. truckers inspired by their Canadian counterparts, who for weeks have been protesting against a vaccine mandate and other COVID-19 measures. "The White House said the department is 'surging additional staff' to the Super Bowl just in case," the Associated Press reports, as "the convoy could begin in Southern California as early as this weekend."

The surge is happening despite the fact that the U.S. trucker convoy is—by the DHS's own admission—more aspirational than anything.

In a Tuesday memo to federal, state, and local law enforcement, the DHS said "this event appears to be purely aspirational, because the event is only being discussed online and we lack any information indicating the event is actually being organized."

"There are currently no indications of planned violence or civil unrest," the memo added.

And while some discussion of a potential convoy was taking place online, "we have no indication that individuals discussing participating in these activities in the United States are engaged in anything other than First Amendment-protected activity," the DHS stated. "Nonetheless, DHS remains concerned that these events could have significant public safety implications or potentially be exploited by ideologically motivated actors to potentially act or encourage others to act violently."

That federal law enforcement is springing into action anyway isn't surprising—it's forever creating reasons to enact more of a police state around the Super Bowl, with terrorism, counterfeit goods, and sex trafficking serving as previous pretenses. It seems a hypothetical convoy of truckers is helping to do the trick this year.

It's one of a number of reasons the department is citing for its extreme presence and increased operations at the Super Bowl:

Quote
DHS support for Super Bowl LVI includes more than 500 DHS personnel providing extensive air and maritime security resources; anti-human trafficking prevention and enforcement support; intellectual property enforcement; chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosives detection technologies; venue, cyber, and infrastructure security assessments; intelligence analysis and threat assessments; and real-time situational awareness reporting for our partner.

Homeland Security Investigations promises that it will be "investigating and arresting those exploiting children, conducting human trafficking, and identifying and rescuing victims of these crimes" during the Super Bowl. (Such "human trafficking" efforts from Homeland Security tend to translate into things like scaring sex workers, arresting immigrants, and federal agents getting handjobs.)

U.S. truck protest rumors simply mean that the Super Bowl will be swarming with even more feds this year.

The Biden administration is also urging Canadian leaders to get tougher with protesting truckers:

[quote] The Biden administration urged Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's government Thursday to use its federal powers to end the truck blockade by Canadians protesting the country's COVID-19 restrictions, as the bumper-to-bumper demonstration forced auto plants on both sides of the border to shut down or scale back production.

For the fourth straight day, scores of truckers taking part in what they dubbed the Freedom Convoy blocked the Ambassador Bridge connecting Windsor, Ontario, to Detroit, disrupting the flow of auto parts and other products between the two countries.

The White House said Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg spoke with their Canadian counterparts and urged them to help resolve the standoff.

The Canadian protests have received millions of dollars in donations, first through GoFundMe and then—once GoFundMe rejected them—through another crowdfunding platform, GiveSendGo.

Now, Ontario Premier Doug Ford has persuaded the Ontario Superior Court of Justice to freeze the donations from GiveSendGo.

Meanwhile, a copycat protest has begun in France. "Dozens of trucks and vehicles left southern France on Wednesday and headed for Paris as part of a convoy opposing the country's vaccination pass program," notes The New York Times:

Quote
The demonstrators in France, who include motorcyclists and car drivers, are expected to be followed by similar convoys on Thursday and Friday. The movement's name, the "Convoi de la Liberté," is a direct translation of Canada's "Freedom Convoy."

GoSendGo told Canada they have no jurisdiction so they can go pound sand. They've also been seizing fuel and arresting supporters. But more people are stepping up and supplies are still coming.

I'm far from confident this will really happen, but be prepared accordingly. Stock up on food, fuel, and other necessities right now. This could get messy!

It was mandatory when the gov. put the country on lockdown. But, it's domestic terrorism when the truckers do it. During the entire plandemic the truckers had to work under difficult conditions with no vaccines available. The media called them hero's; now they call them a dangerous fringe group. I hope the truckers shut the country down until it's on it's knees.

I’ve heard rumblings of these trucker convoys and protests turning into a slowdown or strike. “Won’t let us protest and try to silence us… fine… I’ll just take that big rig home, park it and take a few weeks or more off”

This is going to get real serious real quick.

I saw that…. When the rally cry of “freedom” is being portrayed as a radical far right statement and dangerous… you have lost total touch with reality.

You could say the Democrat parties portray of the world “patriot” and disdain of the public display of the flag in the same way.

Trudeau Targets Crowdfunding Platforms, Cryptocurrencies Under ‘Terrorist Financing’ Rules

Jordan Dixon-Hamilton14 Feb 2022289

Far-Left Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is targeting crowdfunding platforms and cryptocurrency transactions under Canada’s “terrorist financing” rules after the Freedom Convoy raised millions of dollars in support of its cause.

During a press conference on Monday, Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said:

We are announcing the following immediate actions: first, we are broadening the scope of Canada’s anti-money laundering and terrorist financing rules so that they cover crowdfunding platforms and the payment service providers they use. These changes cover all forms of transactions, including digital assets, such as cryptocurrencies.

Oh my fucking goodness: Canada's Deputy Prime Minister says that, as part of the Emergencies Act, they are broadening Canada's "Terrorist Financing" rules so that they cover crowdfunding platforms and cryptocurrencies to the Canadian Freedom Convoy pic.twitter.com/35bXSu4k6j

— Greg Price (@greg_price11) February 14, 2022

Trudeau invoked Canada’s Emergencies Act on Monday to target these transactions. This act “allows the federal government to override the provinces and authorize special temporary measures to ensure security during national emergencies,” according to Reuters. His announcement is the latest attack on crowdfunding efforts for the Freedom Convoy. U.S.-based GoFundMe suspended the Freedom Convoy fundraising page after supporters raised nearly $11 million.

GiveSendGo became an alternative crowdfunding source for the Freedom Convoy and has raised more than $8 million for the truckers. On Friday, GiveSendGo defied a Canadian government order to freeze the freedom convoy funds.

However, under Canada’s new orders, GiveSendGo will now be required to report “suspicious transactions” to the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC).

The Canadian truckers have been protesting Trudeau’s vaccine mandates and public health regulations since the prime minister implemented a vaccine mandate for truckers entering Canada last month. Recently, the truckers held a blockade at Ambassador Bridge, which connects Detroit and Ontario. The blockade lasted from Friday to Sunday after a Canadian court issued an injunction ordering the protesters’ removal from the bridge.

Freeland explained that the Canadian government would capture crowdfunded and cryptocurrency assets through the “crime and terrorist financing act.”

“The illegal blockades have highlighted the fact that crowdfunding platforms and some of the payment service providers they use are not fully captured under the proceeds of crime and terrorist financing act,” Freeland said.

She also announced that crowdfunding platforms must report more payments than usual to FINTRAC.

Our banks and financial institutions are already obligated to report to the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Center of Canada, or FINTRAC. As of today, all crowdfunding platforms and the payment service providers they use must register with Track, and they must report large and suspicious transactions to FINTRAC.

During Monday’s announcement, Freeland also threatened to freeze the corporate and personal bank accounts of those involved in the protests.

I just pray that this is enough to wake up the sleepy Canadians. Unfortunately they JUST had a parliamentary election last fall!

Did Justin Trudeau just prove the value of crypto currencies? Personally, I just never got into crypto because it became a wild speculation, rather than what it was meant to be. Maybe this will finally show the real value of crypto currencies - the anonymous transfer of money.

Quote
...This type of situation—one in which protesters are being freezed out by crowdfunding platforms, one in which the government is threatening to suppress demonstrations and surveil financial transactions—is precisely the use case for crypto, which may be why Canadian officials namechecked it in their Terrorist Financing announcement. Sure, collecting Bored Ape NFTs is cool and all, but crypto's real value lies in the fact that it's much harder to trace back to its sender, allowing pseudonymous donors to support whichever political causes they want to, no matter how transgressive. The more intermediaries you layer on, the more opportunities for surveillance, but person-to-person crypto transfers would be quite easy to pull off without reporting to FINTRAC.

These reporting requirements already exist for banks in Canada dealing with large amounts of money, just as they do in the U.S. However, monitoring cryptocurrency transactions and crowdfunding donations is not nearly so simple; it's "unclear how they'd stop a large crypto transfer if no banks are involved," notes Reason's Zach Weissmueller on Twitter. If done properly, crypto transfers hold great surveillance-evading potential....

The Ottawa police chief has just resigned. Supposedly, it is because of accusations of bullying and volatile behavior.

Quote
...The police chief was criticized last week by the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms' John Carpay, who highlighted the police force's efforts to work with GoFundMe to remove funds from the Freedom Convoy truckers.

"Chief Sloly publicly accuses the truckers of engaging in 'unlawful' and 'harmful' activities, and of promoting 'hatred' and 'violence,'" but provides no examples, facts, or arrests to support his accusations," wrote Carpay.

"The Chief calls for 'order' to be 'restored' even though 'order' has not been lost. His fact-free rhetoric includes mention of an 'increasingly volatile' and 'increasingly dangerous' situation. As though speaking for an oppressive regime, Chief Sloly has repeatedly called for an 'end' to the exercise of the fundamental Charter freedoms of expression, association and peaceful assembly by Canadians in their own capital city," he wrote.

Trudeau’s latest attack on peaceful Freedom Convoy is straight from Communist China’s playbook

(Natural News) This is the most important Daily News note that I have ever written. Read on and you will understand why I wrote this to go out with the LifeSite Daily News email to subscribers last night.

(Article by Steve Jalsevac republished from LifeSiteNews.com)

Monday was a wild, roller coaster day for Canadians and the Convoy 2022 movement that has attracted immense international attention and support. One nation after another has seen the rise of a trucker movement imitating the incredibly successful Canadian one. Each one verifies similar citizen disgust and desperation over covid mandates in their respective nations.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced end to vaccine passports mandate

The day started out with an astonishing press conference from COVID tyrant and Ontario premier Doug Ford. Ontario is Canada’s most populated and wealthy province. Ford announced a completely unexpected, supposed end to the province’s vaccine passports mandate. I use “supposed” because he is also going to allow businesses to continue to demand proof of vaccination if they so wish. That is a contradictory policy of giving with one hand while taking away with the other.

He also vaguely indicated that masks will stay in place until “a later date” and threatened Truckers with “serious consequences” for “lawless activity,” ignoring his own constantly failed, massively lawless COVID policies that have been catastrophic and resulted in thousands of otherwise preventable deaths and severe injuries that are ongoing.

Trudeau/federal government invocation of Emergency Measures Act

Then there was the carefully staged Justin Trudeau and various aids’ press conference, where for the first time in Canadian history the extreme Emergency Measures Act (EMA) was invoked. It gives this chronically lying prime minister frightening dictatorial powers to crush terrorists or similar threats to the nation.

Trudeau has never been known to be consistent on his beliefs and policies which back in 2020 would have strongly supported today’s truckers’ actions – even if they lasted a year. See the following excerpt from the New York Times editorial board noted in an illuminating Hot Air column today:

“Entertaining the use of force to disperse or contain legal protests is wrong. As Mr. Trudeau said in November 2020, in expressing his support of a yearlong protest by farmers in India that blocked major highways to New Delhi, “Canada will always be there to defend the right of peaceful protest.”’

The Hot Air author logically concludes, “Trudeau’s sudden grasp of emergency powers to shut down peaceful protest is not just a clear case of hypocrisy, but also a warning sign for authoritarianism.”

LifeSite’s Kennedy Hall writes that what Trudeau has actually done was to give himself new powers to “squash a freedom movement that is engaging in civil disobedience peacefully.” And that civil disobedience has been a sacred, traditional right in Canada.

Trudeau political clone Doug Ford also expressed complete support for the PM’s extreme reaction to the peaceful, patriotic protesters. They have been gaining support from millions of Canadians desperately seeking relief from the COVID mandates that have devastated Canada’s economy and society.

Ford seems to have a political death wish which the provincial Liberals will take full advantage of in the upcoming provincial election.

Tucker Carlson was quick to respond last night to Trudeau as having declared Canada to be a dictatorship, which, as he explains, is not an unreasonable charge.

The Canadian Civil Liberties Association has thankfully announced last night that Trudeau has gone too far. They added, “the federal government has not met the threshold necessary to invoke the Emergencies Act. This law creates a high and clear standard for good reason: the Act allows the government to bypass ordinary democratic processes. This standard has not been met.”

They are correct. There is no justifiable, honest reason for its invocation. This is major fraud involving massive exaggerations and lies about the truckers and supporters.

At an earlier truckers’ press conference, Canadian Senator Brian Peckford, the last remaining drafter of Canada’s Charter of Rights, and a great Canadian expressed dismay over the expected invocation of the EMA. Both Peckford and a trucker organizer stated that Convoy 2022 “will hold the line” and the protests will continue to try to free Canadians from the destructive mandates.

Canada’s federal police, the Mounties, have engaged in overnight, Mafia-like violent sabotage of three huge excavators on private property in a field near the Coutts, Alberta truckers’ blockade which they only “suspected” would be used in the blockade. They also claim to have arrested persons connected to the blockade who allegedly had a large number of guns and planned violence against the Mounties when they moved to dismantle the blockade.

At the truckers’ press conference a journalist asked a question about the arrests and guns. There was an immediate outcry from the truckers shouting “lies, lies, lies.” Almost everyone related to the truckers has long been expecting a false flag setup of this type by the Mounties in order to turn the public against them and to justify extreme actions.

The Conservative parliamentary motion to end the COVID restrictions was unfortunately defeated Monday 185 to 151, with only all the Conservatives supporting the motion.

Dr. Robert Malone warns Canadians to defend their nation from Globalists

This is the big one: Dr. Robert Malone posted an article on his blog supporting the Canadian truckers and warning that Canadians must defend their nation if they “wish to keep it, or the Globalists will take it from you.” The article is a MUST-READ for all Canadians and citizens of all other nations.

Malone explains what the catastrophic COVID policies are really all about – imposing the Great Reset on every nation in the world. That also explains the real purpose of Monday’s Canadian federal government press conference. In reality, it had NOTHING to do with “terrorists” or other serious threats to the security of Canada. Justin Trudeau is a protégé of Great Reset creator Klaus Schwab and has a number of times publicly expressed his support for the evil Great Reset scheme.

The truckers are very patriotic Canadians giving their whole heart and soul to defend Canada from those who are destroying it. Every truck and all those cheering them on in Ottawa and on every bridge and stop along the way to Ottawa from the different parts of Canada displayed a sea of Canadian flags.

During rallies, there has been frequent singing of the national anthem. In Ottawa, contrary to Liberal and media lies, truckers cleaned and protected the monuments in front of Parliament. They are no “terrorists” nor any threat to the nation among them compared to the threat that the federal and provincial governments have been with their two years of COVID tyranny and destruction.

Check out my February 11 article that now includes five moving, short videos revealing the true heart and soul of Convoy 2022 and the millions of Canadians supporting them. Forward that article and videos to others so they can use them to convince skeptics and critics of the truckers that they are actually very different from what they have been told every day by the bought and controlled media.

Convoy 2022 has become an unexpected, international, and very serious threat to Great Reset global plans as well as a convenient opportunity to exploit for the purpose of rapidly advancing Great Reset policies in Canada sooner than planned.

Deputy PM Freeland’s shocking financial control measures

The especially big give-away yesterday was the lengthy explanation by Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland of radical new financial policies announcing the government will seize truckers’ assets at will.

Watch Freeland to the left of Trudeau at the beginning of the video of the press conference yesterday when all of this was announced. She was obviously extremely anxious about what she was about to say and the government’s huge risk in trying to get away with its extreme measures.

I have never seen a Deputy PM so obviously near what seems to be a panic attack before speaking. She had every reason to be that anxious as Justin Trudeau also seemed to be very uncomfortable as he announced his unsupportable invoking of the Emergency Measures Act against a huge, popular movement of peaceful Canadian patriots.

She stated, “We are broadening the scope of Canada’s anti-money laundering and terrorist financing rules so that they cover Crowd Funding Platforms and the payment service providers they use.” That is an unprecedented, revolutionary and frightening change to Canada’s financial system and protections for citizens.

There was much more, including authorizing banks to unilaterally suspend any account for any reason on the basis of suspicion alone, no court order required, with legal immunity.

She also announced the government is even planning to seize crypto-currency funds which the truckers have begun using to protect their money from tyrannical government measures. Freeland’s announcements were the most frightening of all the government actions to date.

What Freeland announced strongly appeared to be the next stage of later, full government control of everyone’s financial assets, not just the truckers, and a suspension of all financial privacy rights, with arbitrary and often changing bank and government conditions required of citizens to earn, move and use money.

That total control of personal finances is right out of the Great Reset book and all too similar to Communist China’s social credit system. This is even worse than if Trudeau sent in the army to remove the protesters. What Freeland and Trudeau have begun, unless there is an immediate, great uproar among all Canadians to stop this planned financial slavery, is a grave threat to every Canadian.

Trudeau, Freeland, and the others who spoke during the press conference indicated that these drastic new measures, other than the crowdfunding controls, were temporary and would last only for an unspecified period of time. Trudeau also stated that they are not intended to be applied to all Canadians.

More warnings about the duration and dangers of emergency measures

I need to remind everyone that Trudeau, Ford, and many others promised back in 2020 that they only needed “two weeks to flatten the curve.” How did that turn out? There has been an ongoing string of broken promises and policy reverses for the past two years on almost everything related to Covid. There is good reason to not believe any of the assurances given yesterday afternoon.

Watch the Trucker press conference this morning during which Ontario MPP Randy Hillier and the renowned Dr. Paul Alexander provide sobering responses to yesterday’s developments. Both are very blunt about what Canadians are now facing. There will surely be many more such warnings that Canada has now gone down a very dangerous, unnecessary path.

The entire Ottawa press conference was pure political theatre. It was carefully scripted to further unjustly demonize the Convoy 2022 and provoke Canadians to turn against each other. That is, nothing in it was honest and all Canadians and others watching were considered to be subjects for psychological conditioning to believe that the truckers are violent terrorists threatening national security and economic stability. That is preposterous and unconscionable!

Canadians were assured that the suspension of civil rights and severe actions were targeted only against anyone even suspected of supporting this patriotic movement. That would likely include even millions of Canadians. But it won’t stop there, I can guarantee you.

All Canadians, whether they support or oppose the truckers should be alarmed about this development. It portends the end of democracy in Canada. That would threaten every one of whatever views who are not among the globalist elites.

See the full, one-hour-long press conference here. It is important to endure watching and viewing it from the perspective that has been presented in this article.

I urge all LifeSite readers, no matter what country you are in, to pray for the continued success of Canada’s Convoy 2022 because what happens in Canada over the next few months will have an impact on the rest of the world.

RESIST and NEVER COMPLY with unjust laws and policies.

Remember how the Chinese responded to peaceful protests In Tiananmen Square a few decades ago? Yeah, this is starting to remind me of that.

Now they're talking about seizing the bank accounts of Trump supporters. What the hell does Trump have to do with it?

Bank Run? Canada's Top Banks Mysteriously Go Offline

Days after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he would invoke emergency orders to crack down on demonstrators by freezing their bank accounts, five major Canadian banks went offline on Wednesday night, as customers reported their funds were unavailable, according to technology website Bleeping Computer.

Canada’s largest banks are all offline…

Ottawa Police Will Steal Pets Of Arrested Trucker Protesters, Seize Their Bank Accounts, Take Their Vehicles & Abduct Their Children

Trudeau the tyrant is bringing down the hammer on the patriotic demonstrators.

By Kelen McBreen | INFOWARS.COM Thursday, February 17, 2022

Under the tyrannical government of communist sympathizer Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, peaceful Canadian protesters will soon have their bank accounts and vehicles seized, be subject to imprisonment, and have their children and pets confiscated by the state.

A notice posted to Twitter by the city of Ottawa’s By-law and Regulatory Services Branch (BLRS) warns demonstrators gathered in downtown Ottawa that their pets will be placed into “protective care” if they are arrested.

“If you are unable to care for your animal as a result of enforcement actions, your animal will placed into protective care for 8 days, at your cost. After 8 days, if arrangements are not made, your animal will be considered relinquished,” the notice states.

So, if you’re in jail for over eight days, your dog, cat or other pet will be considered ownerless and could even be euthanized.

This threat comes just one day after Ottawa police handed out flyers warning demonstrators they’ll soon be arrested.

Let Big Tech and the corporate media know they are powerless in stopping the spread of truth by visiting our store now!

In addition to being arrested and potentially having their pets stolen from them, protesters will also have their bank accounts seized.

The Royal Mounted Canadian Police have delivered a list of names to the nation’s banks and some accounts have already been frozen.

The banks are seeking to clarify what actions should be taken with each name law enforcement provided, but under Trudeau’s recent Emergencies Act the government can freeze the accounts.

The protesters will also have their vehicles impounded by the government, as outlined in the never-before-used Emergencies Act.

Adding on to the tyrannical threats being made against the peaceful demonstrators is the government’s warning that children under 19-years-old present at the protest could be placed into government custody.

Last week, Ottawa Police Deputy Chief Steve Bell said the Children’s Aid Service, the Canadian equivalent to CPS, will be in charge of dealing with the kids of the demonstrators.

Touching on the government threat, demonstrator Jacob Verellen said, “Children are protected by their parents, OK? They’re fine. This is a perfectly peaceful protest. This is wrong that we’re even suggesting taking children from their parents.”

What else should we expect from a prime minister who publicly dreams of obtaining the powers granted to a communist dictator?

Canadian banks are preparing to make "unpersons" of peaceful protesters. As demanded by the government, of course. Trudeau once praised China for their "benevolent dictatorship." We're now finding out what that means.

Quote
As Canada tries its best to keep donations of cryptocurrency from helping protesters against the country's vaccine mandates on truckers, as detailed by Reason's Liz Wolfe, the Canadian Bankers Association has announced its intention to make sure that those associated with the protests are thoroughly locked out of all traditional financial services as well.

As Global News in Canada reports:

Quote
The Canadian Bankers Association said in a statement Wednesday that, as with other financial service providers, banks will "need to diligently implement the required measures."

"Banks in Canada follow all applicable laws and regulations in carrying out their operations, in keeping with their commitment to protect the integrity of Canada's financial system," the association said.

The details of those "required measures" Canada wants to enforce on dissenters not convicted of any crime are totalitarian grimness of a sort many naively thought could not happen in the allegedly democratic, free West. These moves embody the Chinese "social credit" mentality: combining ancient authoritarian ideology and modern technological power to control how anyone, free citizen or convicted criminal, can actually survive in the world. (Ottawa has even announced its intention to steal protesters' dogs, a truly cartoonish level of villainy.)

As the CBC reports:

Quote
The government's new directive, called the "emergency economic measures order," goes beyond asking banks to simply stop transferring funds to protest organizers. The government wants banks to stop doing business with some people altogether.

The order says that banks and other financial entities (like credit unions, co-ops, loan companies, trusts and cryptocurrency platforms) must stop "providing any financial or related services" to people associated with the protests — a move that will result in frozen accounts, stranded money and cancelled credit cards…

These financial institutions can't handle cash, issue a loan, extend a mortgage or more generally facilitate "any transaction" of a "designated person" while the Emergencies Act is in place.

Even more sinister, one need not be someone actually committing any act of civic disorder to be thusly punished: "The regulations define a 'designated person' who can be cut off from financial services as someone who is 'directly or indirectly' participating in a 'public assembly that may reasonably be expected to lead to a breach of the peace,' or a person engaging in 'serious interference with trade' or 'critical infrastructure."

What "indirect" support might mean will play out in the courts, one hopes, unless Canada just decides to really live up to its current flexing as a totalitarian hellhole by tossing people in jail without charge or adjudication.
But given targeting of donations both traditional and crypto lately, it will not be surprising if the government considers an "indirect" participant in the protests anyone who donates to the protesters' cause.

The purpose of this sort of financial exile is to break dissidents' will without having to take the perhaps reputation-damaging act of publicly and physically tossing thousands in prison for expressing their anger at government vaccine mandates on truckers. The equally, if metaphorically, bone-crushing act of locking people out of the financial system mark-of-beast style is less easily filmed or tweeted.

It is not yet clear, despite the Canadian Bankers Association's statement, that the protesters the government thinks it has identified are all indeed financially un-personed already. While anons on 4chan are openly trying to meme a Canadian bank run into existence—once the government has announced and banks have agreed that they will block your access to your money or services on executive order, why should people trust banks?—there are scattered reports that Canadians are having more problems with accessing banking services electronically than normal this week.

What Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's government is trying to do here, with the obedient collusion of the banking sector, is far beyond acceptable business as usual for a Western government; it is vile authoritarianism, in service of a policy goal of little objective importance given the existing Canadian rate of vaccination, and it ought to destroy both the moral and actual authority of his regime.

This is one of the reasons why the establishment wants to do away with physical cash… they can’t control it. As much as I have always liked to have cash on hand… with inflation like we are seeing (and bound to see more of) I have a hard time holding onto cash. Using it to buy silver and gold (which are undervalued presently) might make more sense.

Clyde Lewis is doing a broadcast right now about the confiscation of funds. As he pointed out; Hitler did this to the Jews and his political enemies.

And, this isn't just happening in Canada. Mark Lindel just had 9 accounts frozen because of his support of Trump and the truckers. They will do this to us all before it's over; while we stand idly by and let them get away with it. I have never trusted banks. Always pull out everything but enough to keep the account open.

It's pretty hard to trace gold, silver, and platinum. I'm just sayin' ...

One of my grandkids just pointed out that we know the names of the people who are sending money to the truckers, but we still don't know who Ghislaine Maxwell's customers are. There's something wrong there.

One of the bad things about cash or metals (physical as opposed to digital assets)… is that it makes fund raising much harder. Be it donating money to a political candidate, a protest movement or a certain unnamed webpage 😉 much harder.

Freedom Convoy Leader Accuses Police of Blocking Ottawa Protesters from Leaving

Chris Tomlinson18 Feb 20220

A leading organiser of the Freedom Convoy protestors in Ottawa claimed on Friday that police are surrounding protestors and conducting mass arrests, while not allowing people to leave the area peacefully.

Organiser B.J. Dichter claimed on Twitter on Friday afternoon that police forces in Ottawa were escalating the situation on the ground and not allowing protestors to peacefully leave the area.

“Ottawa police are now boxing in ‘protestors’ and executing mass arrests. Once again escalating the situation and not allowing people to leave in peace. Why are you always escalating?” Dichter wrote.

Breitbart News attempted to contact the Ottawa police but was unable to reach a representative to confirm or deny Dichter’s allegations or reports of mass arrests. The Ottawa police hotline advised those concerned to check the police department’s Twitter account.

Dichter had previously called on protestors to leave Ottawa earlier in the day, claiming that one of the Freedom Convoy drivers had been dragged from his vehicle at gunpoint by police.

Several videos posted on Twitter have shown police breaking into vehicles and in some cases, police have been spotted at the protest armed with rifles.

According to Ottawa Police, 21 people have been arrested as of 2:21 pm eastern standard time and 21 vehicles have been towed.

The arrests come just hours after two of the main organisers of the Freedom Convoy, Tammy Lich and Chris Barber, were arrested on Thursday.

Lich, 49-years-old from Medicine Hat, Alberta, was charged Friday with counselling to commit the offence of mischief, while Barber, 46 from Swift Current, Saskatchewan, was charged with counselling to commit the offence of mischief, counselling to commit the offence of disobeying a court order and counselling to commit the offence of obstructing police.

Lich had commented prior to her arrest that she was resigned at the fact that she would be arrested and noted that her bank account had been frozen.

Following the invocation of the Emergencies Act for the first time in Canadian history by leftist Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the government announced it would be freezing the bank accounts of people linked to the protests.

Canada’s Justice Minister, David Lametti, commented on the topic of people worried their bank accounts may be frozen by the government saying, “Well, I think if you are a member of a pro-Trump movement who’s donating hundreds of thousands of dollars and millions of dollars to this kind of thing, they oughta be worried.”

Exclusive: D.C. National Guard Members Told to Be Ready Ahead of Potential Truck Convoy

Kristina Wong19 Feb 20220

Washington, DC National Guard members have received a notice to be prepared to assist local law enforcement ahead of a potential trucker convoy headed to the nation’s capital, according to two sources.

The notice, obtained by Breitbart News, stated that the D.C. National Guard Land Component Command will be “encamped” beginning February 22 “for forthcoming ‘Trucker protest.'” One source explained that the term “encamp” is similar to “occupy an area.”

According to the notice, the National Guard will encamp through Monday, March 7. The notice stated that soldiers were already on standby to support the State of the Union address, which is scheduled for March 1.

A separate notice stated that the encampment could last longer than March 7, and would be in support of the D.C. Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

The notices, sent Friday, indicated the mission has not yet been formally approved by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

A National Guard spokesman confirmed to Breitbart News on Saturday afternoon that there has been a request by MPD to assist, but it is still awaiting approval by Austin.

“We have a request from the D.C. Metro Police for support, and that support is contingent on approval from the secretary of defense, so we’re waiting on that. We’re waiting for approval from the secretary of defense,” said Army Maj. Aaron Thacker.

The U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) issued a press release on Friday that said the USCP is “closely coordinating” with entities that include the D.C. National Guard ahead of the potential truck convoy.

The press release said:

‘Law enforcement agencies across the National Capital Region are aware of plans for a series of truck convoys arriving in Washington, DC around the time of the State of the Union. As with any demonstration, the USCP will facilitate lawful First Amendment activity. The USCP is closely coordinating with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, including DC’s Metropolitan Police Department, the United States Park Police, the United States Secret Service and other allied agencies to include the DC National Guard.’ – The United States Capitol Police

—–UPDATE—–

Here is additional information to address numerous inquiries we have received this evening:

‘The United States Capitol Police and the United States Secret Service have been closely working together to plan for the upcoming State of the Union. The temporary inner-perimeter fence is part of those ongoing discussions and remains an option, however at this time no decision has been made.’ – The United States Capitol Police

When fascism comes to America, it will look like Justin Trudeau's Canada.

Quote
If Justin Trudeau had merely removed trucks from blocking a bridge in protest of vaccine mandates, it would be no big deal. Protesters for various causes routinely get removed from blocking traffic.

But that’s not all Justin Trudeau did. He suspended civil liberties in Canada, targeting peaceful protesters and anyone who supports them. Not because those supporters committed a crime, but because they supported the political opposition to Trudeau’s government.

Trudeau ordered all financial institutions to freeze the assets of his political opposition without court order and with full immunity from liability, and no financial asset was spared.

Quote
“The names of both individuals and entities as well as crypto wallets have been shared by the RCMP with financial institutions and accounts have been frozen and more accounts will be frozen.”

Trudeau has weaponized and commanded the private sector to do the government’s bidding in crushing political dissent. The Toronto Sun reported (emphasis in original):

Quote
One of the most far-reaching implications of the Emergencies Act is what it prescribes for the Canadian financial system. According to the government’s new Emergency Economic Measures Order, every single bank, credit union, investment broker and insurance provider in the country has been deputized to figure out if they have a blockader as a client, and to immediately freeze their accounts if so.

Under normal circumstances, private companies arbitrarily seizing the assets of their clients is a great way to get sued. But the order makes clear that “no civil proceedings lie against an entity for complying with this Order.”

As for who can be targeted by these measures, that’s pretty broad too.
The official proclamation says it applies to anyone participating in a “public assembly that may reasonably be expected to lead to a breach of the peace.” The general idea was to turn the blockaded areas of Ottawa into a “no-go” zone where anyone within could be arrested or their accounts frozen, but the Emergencies Act could conceivably be applied to anyone else interfering with “critical infrastructure” or disrupting the “movement of persons.”

It’s why Attorney General David Lametti seemed to say on CTV Wednesday that anyone who donated to Freedom Convoy could potentially face seeing their accounts frozen by the federal government. The question from host Evan Solomon was “A lot of folks said, ‘I just don’t like your vaccine mandates and I donated to this … should I be worried that the bank can freeze my account?’” To this, Lametti replied, “If you are a member of a pro-Trump movement who is donating hundreds of thousands of dollars, and millions of dollars to this kind of thing, then you ought to be worried.”

The goal is not just to crush political dissent, it’s to crush the opposition’s spirit by depriving them of their livelihoods, ability to survive financially, and even taking their pets.

Fascism is an overused and elastic term that in our politics mostly is used against Republicans for anything liberals don’t like. Donald Trump calling people names on Twitter is not fascism. Justin Trudeau commanding private businesses unilaterally and without legal consequence to freeze the assets of his political opposition and their supporters is fascism.

Trudeau is dangerous not just because he’s abusing Canadians, but because he is providing the wish list for crackdowns by Democrats in the U.S.

We see it already. Big tech corporations do the Democrats’ bidding in silencing critics through deplatforming, censoring content from publication or social media sharing, deplatforming websites from hosting companies and, as in the case of Parler, from the cloud and app stores. Funding platforms like GoFundMe are pressured to suspend fundraising and deprive the beneficiary of the donations, and payment processors and banks are pressured to cut off deplorables. Removing the political opposition from the modern financial and technology systems is what Justin Trudeau is doing, and it’s the dream of the political progressives in the U.S.

It’s already happening here, though not with the brazenness of Trudeau. The Biden administration gives cover to and encourages every one of the actions listed in the preceding paragraph by declaring political opposition domestic terrorists (even parents at school boards), and by broadly blurring the distinction between policial dissent and terrorism. Social media platforms openly are solicited by the Biden administration to crack down on dissent.

The situation here is not yet as dire as in Canada. And I still believe our courts and collective national will would not allow what is happening in Canada to happen here. But I also never thought the government would be empowered as it was, with scant judicial interference, in locking down the country for Covid, or that private citizens would become the government’s enforcers.

When fascism comes to America, it will look like Justin Trudeau’s Canada.

At least two "convoys" are now reportedly headed to Washington, D.C. The "People's Convoy" and the "American Freedom Convoy" are now both scheduled to begin on or about March 1.

Here is the website for the American Truckers Freedom Fund They accept donations by credit card, checks, or PayPal. I wouldn't advise it, but I suppose you could send them cash as well. Someone more technologically competent than I am could probably figure out a way to send then bitcoin.

Yeah, I'm probably a little paranoid. But I saw what they did up in Canada.

I just got home to Tulsa from Oklahoma City (I was at the state Libertarian Convention). Coming back on I-44, on every overpass, there were crowds of people waving American flags, Canadian flags, Trump flags, Gadsden flags... All greeting the truckers joining the People's Convoy. I knew this convoy would be pretty popular, but we saw literally thousands of people waving and flying flags in the almost 100 miles between OKC and Tulsa.

Those truckers are some scary people. They forced Trudeau to go into hiding, and now they're putting that fence around the Capitol back up.

Quote
Fencing around the U.S. Capitol is being reinstalled in advance of Tuesday’s State of the Union address, authorities announced Sunday, in a statement that also referred to potential protests in the city over the next two weeks.

The decision was made “out of an abundance of caution,” according to the Capitol Police, who have long been preparing for the possible arrival of trucks inspired by the “Freedom Convoy” that occupied downtown Ottawa for more than three weeks to protest vaccine mandates.

The self-titled “People’s Convoy,” a U.S.-based group of activists also opposed to vaccine mandates, left from Southern California on Feb. 23 for a cross-country trip. They plan to arrive in the region March 5, but organizers have emphasized that they intend to target the Beltway and not travel into the city.

That trucker convoy circled Washington this weekend. Few people noticed. It consisted of a few dozen vehicles - some of them trucks - and took place when bigger things were happening.
