Monkeypox Was a Table-Top Simulation Only Last Year

By Michael Senger May 20, 2022

Elite media outlets around the world are on red alert over the world’s first-ever global outbreak of Monkeypox in mid-May 2022—just one year after an international biosecurity conference in Munich held a simulation of a “global pandemic involving an unusual strain of Monkeypox” beginning in mid-May 2022.

[Linked Image]

Monkeypox was first identified in 1958, but there’s never been a global Monkeypox outbreak outside of Africa until now—in the exact week of the exact month predicted by the biosecurity folks in their pandemic simulation. Take these guys to Vegas!

Ed Yong, who’s penned dozens of hysterical articles on Covid for The Atlantic including such gems as COVID-19 Long-Haulers Are Fighting for Their Future, Even Health-Care Workers With Long COVID Are Being Dismissed, How Did This Many Deaths Become Normal? and The Final Pandemic Betrayal, is hot on the scene of the new Monkeypox outbreak.

Eric Feigl-Ding is also all over this.

Epidemiologists Jennifer Nuzzo and Bill Hanage are on the scene—but still no word from them as to whether they see anything strange about the first-ever global Monkeypox outbreak occurring in mid-May 2022, a year after they acted as advisers on an international biosecurity simulation of a global Monkeypox outbreak occurring in mid-May 2022.

[Linked Image]

The US Government is hot on the scene with an order of 13 million Monkeypox vaccine doses from Bavarian Nordic.

The WHO is on the scene.

The global Monkeypox outbreak—occurring on the exact timeline predicted by a biosecurity simulation of a global Monkeypox outbreak a year prior—bears a striking resemblance to the outbreak of COVID-19 just months after Event 201, a simulation of a coronavirus pandemic almost exactly like COVID-19.

Event 201 was hosted in October 2019—just two months before the coronavirus was first revealed in Wuhan—by the Gates Foundation, the World Economic Forum, Bloomberg, and Johns Hopkins. As with the Event 201, the participants at the Monkeypox simulation have thus far been stone silent as to their having participated in a pandemic simulation the facts of which happened to come true in real life just months later.

One person who was present at both Event 201 and the Monkeypox simulation is George Fu Gao, director of the Chinese Center for Disease Control. At event 201, Gao specifically raised the point of countering “misinformation” during a “hypothetical” coronavirus pandemic.

Here’s Gao at Event 201 right next to our very own Avril Haines, Director of National Intelligence—technically the highest-level intelligence official in the United States. Look at these cuties. Doesn’t that make you feel all warm and fuzzy? Phew. Making Kim Philby jealous.

That said, I won’t sit here and debate wild conspiracy theories that there might be anything unusual about a global pandemic occurring just months after a simulation of a global pandemic of exactly that kind, followed shortly after by the first-ever global outbreak of an even-more-obscure virus just months after a simulation of an outbreak of exactly that kind.

If you want to be a good American and make a six-figure salary—or be friends with people who make six-figure salaries—then do as your government tells you: Sit down, shut up, stay home, save lives, take your shots, show your papers, and muzzle your kids.

Bombshell Report: Monkeypox Appears To Be ‘Lab Strain With Unknown Characteristics,’ Says ECDC Source

by Jamie White
May 21st 2022,

Comes as Russia investigative committee accuses US of conducting illegal research into smallpox and Ebola pathogens at clandestine biolabs in Ukraine.

The monkeypox outbreak currently springing up in countries around the world appears to originate from a “lab strain”, a source at the European Centers For Disease Control reportedly revealed.

Independent investigator Dr. Benjamin Braddock claimed on Twitter that an unnamed source at the ECDC told him that preliminary analysis of the monkeypox found the virus came from a lab and may be related to the U.S’s biological research in Ukraine.

“ECDC source tells me that the preliminary analysis of monkeypox indicates that it is ‘a third lab strain with unknown characteristics’ and that there is chatter about this being somehow related to Moscow’s charges against U.S. biological activities in Ukraine,” Braddock tweeted Saturday.

Additionally, a Russian-Chinese joint task force has reportedly launched an investigation into “where it originated, whether it is detectable in research conducted by the US in Ukraine, Georgia; whether there is a link to biological research conducted by the US on smallpox in Ukraine,” he added.

In the face of the rising monkeypox cases in the U.S. and Europe, the ECDC source reportedly claims the agency is intent on purchasing smallpox vaccines (Imvanex) from biotech company Bavarian Nordic, even though they haven’t been tested on this particular strain of monkeypox.

“Main ECDC focus right now is on buying up as much of BN’s vaccine as possible. ‘They’re buying before they know whether it is even effective against this strain of monkeypox. I wouldn’t be surprised if they skipped testing it’s efficacy altogether,'” Braddock tweeted.

Shortly after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the World Health Organization warned Ukrainian authorities to destroy any high-threat pathogens being researched in biolabs to prevent “any potential spills” into the public.

Russia’s Parliamentary Commission on Investigation of US Biological Laboratories in Ukraine on Friday accused the US of conducting illegal research on smallpox and Ebola at clandestine biolabs in Ukraine.

“Today, we presented an analysis of which pathogens the US was particularly interested in in Ukraine,” Irina Yarovaya, co-chair of the committee, told reporters Friday. “Aside from the pathogens that are territorially bound to Ukraine, [the laboratories] researched viruses and pathogens that are endemically very far from Ukraine, such as Ebola and smallpox.”

Prior to this recent outbreak, monkeypox cases were only documented in central and West African countries, baffling experts over the monkeypox cases quickly popping up in North America and Europe in recent weeks.

“I’m stunned by this. Every day I wake up and there are more countries infected,” said Oyewale Tomori, a virologist who formerly headed the Nigerian Academy of Science and who sits on several WHO advisory boards.

“This is not the kind of spread we’ve seen in West Africa, so there may be something new happening in the West,” he said.

Curiously, the U.S. Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) recently purchased 13 million doses of Bavarian Nordic’s Jynneo smallpox/monkeypox vaccine, but the Health and Human Services (HHS) released a statement claiming the large order has nothing to do with the ongoing monkeypox outbreak.

“The most recent BARDA purchase of smallpox vaccine was part of a standard and ongoing preparedness efforts and unrelated to specific events,” an HHS spokesperson told Axios on Friday.

“BARDA has worked with industry to develop and purchase vaccines and treatments for a potential smallpox emergency, some of which may also be used to respond to monkeypox,” the spokesperson added.

Notably, there have been no naturally-occurring cases of smallpox in the US since the virus was eradicated in 1980.

Why would the U.S. government feel compelled to buy a shipment of smallpox/monkeypox vaccines, especially right now?

Apparently the "experts" are. They're using this as an excuse to take over.

Flight-ER-Doc, i got a booster smallpox vaccine back in 1971. Would I still have any immunity for monkeypox? Some of those photos at your link are pretty scary.

It looks like most of the 92 cases so far are men who have sex with other men. It looks like it's a disease that's pretty hard to catch.

Event 202: What are Smallpox Pandemic Simulations Foreshadowing?

Via The New Atlantean

PHOTOS: Vaccine History Repeats Itself — Sometimes | WAMU
Pandemic response simulations now examine the severity of a potential widespread smallpox outbreak.

From Event 201 to the controversial decisions of the Obama and Trump Administrations to remove a moratorium placed on funding gain of function research, to the seemingly preemptive declaration of Anthony Fauci in 2017 that the US would soon face a pandemic, it seems like the writing was on the wall all along for the outbreak of COVID-19. Although hindsight is 20/20, it also imbues us with foresight in the atypical event that we actually learn from our mistakes. As the United States announces its first confirmed domestic cases of monkeypox in 2022, parallels between what led up to the COVID-19 pandemic appear to be eerily similar. That similarity is echoed in Europe, where the actions of public health bureaucracies appear every bit as analogous. To tie a bow around those developments, the emergence of an NGO-backed global narrative has been authored by a panel entrusted by the World Health Organization that may serve as the script for whatever stage has been set.

Just as Event 201 simulated the global response to a coronavirus pandemic just months before its actual onset, Germany has chosen to enact a similar exercise concerning an outbreak of smallpox, hosting health ministers from other G7 nations. This decision follows the release of a report from the Independent Panel for Pandemic Preparedness and Response (“IPPPR”). Despite issuing a report to the WHO last year titled “Making COVID-19 the Last Pandemic, the IPPPR report on the threat of a global monkeypox outbreak projects that the virus could kill as many as 250 million of the 3 billion infections it forecast over an 18 month period.

JUST IN – G7 health ministers to take part in a pandemic exercise in Germany, simulating a fast-spreading and dangerous outbreak of a “smallpox virus” originating from leopards, BILD reports.

— Disclose.tv (@disclosetv) May 18, 2022

These smallpox pandemic simulations are far from the first of their kind. In fact, the Center for Health and Security (“CHS”) already held several of these exercises years even before Event 201. Like the forthcoming pandemic simulation in Germany, CHS’ Operation Dark Winter simulated the ramifications of a smallpox vaccine all the way back in 2001. The case study conducted by Dark Winter coupled with the threat of terrorism manufactured by the US under the Bush Administration to pass the National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive more commonly known as Directive 51. This directive outlined the continuity of government that would be enacted in the event of a catastrophe, an action which has been made possible due to an on-going state of emergency reauthorized every 90 days since September 14, 2001 in response to 9/11.

Though overshadowed by the bellicose tone targeting terrorism as the country’s greatest existential threat since nuclear war, Dark Winter highlighted the potential that epidemic disease outbreaks could have in providing an emergency situation that could drastically extend the powers of the federal government. The dynamic forged by the passage of Directive 51 was evident in the US pandemic response to COVID-19 which facilitated the unprecedented expansion of government power over even the most minute aspects of the everyday lives of citizens.

Germany’s smallpox pandemic simulation rides that momentum by apparently setting the stage for a successive public health emergency in response to the cases of monkeypox to emerge in Europe. Notably, the exercise presupposes a zoonotic the origin of a smallpox outbreak through a narrative that echoes Event 201, which designated pigs used as livestock as the origin of a new coronavirus. These presuppositions were essential to policy makers as they provided the undertones needed to promote the theory that COVID-19 emerged zoonotically from horseshoe bats who naturally developed the disease. The value of simulating a public health response that emphasized that zoonotic origin was essential to obfuscated COVID-19’s apparent origins as the result of gain of function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. With this is in mind, the premise that forthcoming cases of smallpox could be the result of similar experiments is startling, particularly as it conveys the complete absence of accountability politicians were held to following the coronavirus pandemic and the possibility that gain of function research has been deployed on a more widespread basis than previously thought.
native advertising

Unlike SARS-COV-2, which disproportionately affected people who were older, German Health Minister Karl Lauterbach’s remarks at the first day of the smallpox pandemic simulation paint a different picture of what could come, stating “We will do a very realistic exercise in which a smallpox pandemic results from a leopard bite..The scenario will have the particularity that especially younger people will be hit very hard,” Lauterbach, who was lauded in his capacity for German’s handling of COVID-19 serves as a pivotal figure given the change in the countries leadership following the exit of Angela Merkel from the chancellery. Like Anthony Fauci, Lauterbach conveys the transcendent power of a bureaucracy of medical technocrats who operated outside of the parameters that election officials are subject to. As such, the actions of their ilk are much more indicative of what lies ahead than any vapid political posturing.

Meanwhile in the United States, on the very day that the CDC confirmed a case of monkeypox in Massachusetts, the US Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (“BARDA”) announced it would purchase approximately 13 million doses of the freeze-dried version of the JYNNEOS smallpox vaccine from Bavarian Nordic, a vaccine manufacturer based out of Denmark. The purchase order comes just one month after the company’s RSV vaccine entered a phase 3 clinical trial.

Given the genetic similarities of smallpox and monkeypox, approval of JYNNEOS in the US already extends to the administration of the vaccine to as a prophylaxis against the latter virus. BARDA exercised an option in an existing contract with Bavarian Nordic purchase those doses that was in place before the emergence of monkeypox this year. With more than 20 cases of the disease confirmed in the EU nations of England, Portugal, and Spain, Bavarian Nordic was also able to finalize a contract with an undisclosed European nation to supply the same smallpox vaccine purchased by BARDA, albeit under the trademark Imvanex. While the scope of the contract and purchase are not yet known, its announcement sent Bavarian Nordic’s stock surging by over 62% the day following the disclosure.

In 2017, officials from BARDA participated in a conference alongside Anthony Fauci to discuss the future of flu vaccinations. Each asserted the need for a universally administered flu shot to improve the relative ineffectiveness of existing inoculations. Since the 2004/2005 flu season, those vaccinations have proven to be effective just 38.5% of the time on average, with a low of 10% in 2004/2005 and a high of 60% in 2010/2011.

The volatility in the effectiveness of the flu shots was cause for the medical intelligentsia to promote innovative new vaccine technologies that would be more adept at treating the virus; namely through the use of mRNA technology. Despite over a decade of development, mRNA vaccines failed to receive FDA approval until the August of 2021 when Pfizer’s Comirnaty mRNA vaccine against COVID-19 was approved in provision included in an extension by the FDA’s emergency use authorization for its widespread application.

Even then, the approval hinged upon an unprecedented relaxation of regulatory oversight. The clear oversight of such expedited approval has become apparent as the efficacy of Comirnaty and other mRNA vaccines against COVID-19 that was lauded as being as much as 100% effective has come crashing down to Earth in a trajectory that mirrors the credibility of the scientists and politicians who promoted them.

The great irony of the looming threat of another pandemic crisis is that vaccinations were heralded for their elimination of smallpox. Edward Jenner, who discovered modern vaccinations, was able to demonstrate how inoculations could be used to prevent smallpox by infecting patients with the much less serious cowpox virus. That happened over 2 centuries ago. Since then, the strides made by modern medicine make Jenner’s era seem like the dark ages. Yet, despite all of that supposed progress, the fragility of society in the face of a disease outbreak appears more delicate than ever. The panic that threat creates shows how quickly people will be willing “trust the experts” once again, even if that means making the same mistakes all over.

Likely it would....How much, we are not sure. There is not a lot of research on this, because testing on live people with deadly viruses is frowned on.

One thing is certain.

FDR was right...nothing happens by accident. Governments will use the monkeypox "outbreak" as an excuse to implement the WHO global health treaty.

Monkeypox is spreading primarily by sexual contact.

Quote
The recent outbreak of the monkeypox virus in North America and Europe is primarily spreading through sex, according to World Health Organization (WHO) officials on Monday, while confirming about 200 cases so far.

The virus itself is not a sexually transmitted infection, but WHO officials said the recent surge in cases is linked to homosexual men. However, they said that anyone can contract monkeypox, which is generally confined to Central and West Africa.

“We’ve seen a few cases in Europe over the last five years, just in travelers, but this is the first time we’re seeing cases across many countries at the same time in people who have not traveled to the endemic regions in Africa,” Dr. Rosamund Lewis, who runs WHO’s smallpox research, said in a streaming event on social media.

So far, the United States has confirmed at least two cases and a third suspected case is being investigated by officials in Florida. The cases have been reported in New York City and Massachusetts.

Quote
“Many diseases can be spread through sexual contact. You could get a cough or a cold through sexual contact, but it doesn’t mean that it’s a sexually transmitted disease,” Andy Seale, who advises WHO on HIV, hepatitis, and other sexually transmitted diseases, or STDs. Seale said monkeypox isn’t considered an STD.

Meanwhile, Dr. David Heymann, who chaired a meeting of the World Health Organization’s advisory group on infectious disease, told The Associated Press that the leading theory to explain the spread of the disease was sexual transmission at events held in Spain and Belgium. Monkeypox has not previously triggered widespread outbreaks beyond Africa, where it is endemic in animals.

Quote
“We know monkeypox can spread when there is close contact with the lesions of someone who is infected, and it looks like sexual contact has now amplified that transmission,” said Heymann.

“It’s very possible there was somebody who got infected, developed lesions … and then spread it to others when there was sexual or close, physical contact,” Heymann said, adding that “these international events … seeded the outbreak around the world, into the U.S., and other European countries.” ...

...But so far authorities have identified two “superspreader events” which seem to have been catalysts for this global outbreak.

One was a pride festival in the Canary Islands

Quote
The Canaria Pride festival, held in the town of Maspalomas between May 5 and 15, has become a hotspot for the monkeypox outbreak, reports El País.

The massive party was attended by over 80,000 people, including three Italian men who later tested positive for the virus.

A health source told the newspaper: “Among the 30 or so diagnosed in Madrid, there are several who attended the event, although it is not yet possible to know if one of them is patient zero of this outbreak or if they all got infected there.”

And the other was a fetish festival in Antwerp, Belgium

Quote
Many of the patients who have come forward so far are gay men and Belgium’s three confirmed cases of monkeypox have been linked to a large-scale fetish festival in the port city of Antwerp. Kuipers said in his briefing that while a notable number of men who have sex with men are among the patients the virus is ‘not confined to them’. The virus can be spread via mucus membranes in the mouth, nose and eyes or via open wounds.

As we move into the summer months, the WHO is warning that similar events could cause the outbreak to accelerate even more

Quote
Now the World Health Organization is warning that summer festivals and mass gatherings could accelerate the spread of monkeypox.

“As we enter the summer season in the European region, with mass gatherings, festivals and parties, I am concerned that transmission could accelerate, as the cases currently being detected are among those engaging in sexual activity, and the symptoms are unfamiliar to many,” said Dr Hans Kluge, WHO regional director for Europe.

They are not gay they are miserable queers. This is another reason homos should be bashed back into their closets. Damn disease spreading Sodomites.

New King James Bible, Leviticus 20:13
13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.

New King James Bible, Romans 1, 18:32
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.
20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts
22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,
23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,
25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.
27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,
30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;
32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

What is the next public health emergency? It looks like it might be syphilis.

Quote
Arguably, one of the next public health emergencies will be responding to the increase in sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Even before the Covid-19 pandemic, STI rates were on the rise.

As health systems return to pre-pandemic delivery of services, the ongoing upward trajectory of STIs is coming into focus.

Most alarming is the resurgence of syphilis, known as the "Great Imitator" for the challenges it presents to clinical diagnosis. The latest rates suggest that far from the plans to eliminate syphilis in the 1990s and the 2000s, the disease has once again emerged as a public health threat.

According to recently released CDC data, cases of syphilis increased 52% from 2016 to 2020, and congenital syphilis cases are up by 235%.

Preliminary data for 2021 show yet another increase of congenital syphilis, considered a sentinel event in the healthcare system.

This growing infectious disease threat deserves urgent attention. Untreated syphilis has severe long-term health consequences and contributes to HIV transmission.

Congenital syphilis leads to greater rates of stillbirth, premature birth, and infant death. Infants who survive can have lifelong disabilities from the infection.

To counteract this trend, we can apply lessons from the Covid-19 pandemic response and previous syphilis outbreaks. Resources, outreach, and innovation can greatly extend the reach and impact of biomedical interventions....

Monkeypox DNA has been found in patients in Italy, lending credence to the theory it's transmitted sexually. But the CDC will probably order us to wear face masks anyway.

Quote
Fragments of the monkeypox virus have been detected in semen in a handful of patients in Italy, raising questions over whether sexual transmission of the disease is a possibility, scientists said on Monday.

The monkeypox virus is understood to spread through close contact with an infected person, who may shed the virus via its hallmark skin lesions or large respiratory droplets. Many of the monkeypox cases confirmed in the current outbreak are among sexual partners who have had such close contact.

However sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV/AIDS, chlamydia, and syphilis are understood to be caused by pathogens that pass from one person to the next specifically in semen, vaginal secretions or other bodily fluids.

Researchers at the Spallanzani Institute, a Rome-based hospital and infectious disease research facility first highlighted evidence of the monkeypox virus in semen in four patients in Italy in a report on June 2.

They have since identified six out of seven patients at the facility with semen containing the virus' genetic material. In particular, a sample tested in the lab from a single patient suggested that the virus found in his semen was capable of infecting another person and replicating.

This data, which is being submitted for publication, is not enough evidence to prove that the virus' biological traits have changed, such that its mode of transmission has evolved, Francesco Vaia, the institute's general director, told Reuters.

"However ... having an infectious virus in semen is a factor that tips the balance strongly in favour of the hypothesis that sexual transmission is one of the ways in which this virus is transmitted," he said....

The CDC has advice for how to avoid monkeypox. Have sex with your clothes on, and wash your fetish gear. I'm not kidding.

Quote
"Try having sex with your clothes on," advises the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in a new two-pager issued this month, or masturbating 6 feet away from your partner if you're worried you might have monkeypox. If clothes-on sex, whatever that means, doesn't interest you, you could go for "virtual sex" or anything where you "avoid kissing" and keep body parts with inexplicable sores covered (which seems like good advice regardless of whether monkeypox is spreading). Regardless of which route you go, though, be sure to wash your sheets and your fetish gear, says the nation's premier public health nanny.

Raves have "some risk," says the CDC, crucially noting that "back rooms, saunas, or sex clubs, where there is minimal or no clothing and where intimate sexual contact occurs have a higher likelihood of spreading monkeypox."

So far, little is known about monkeypox other than the fact that it appears to possibly be sexually transmitted, possibly through lesions (but also maybe through aerosols, so not necessarily sex), primarily via men who have sex with other men. There are fewer than 100 cases in the U.S. and a few thousand cases worldwide, though The New York Times notes that "epidemiologists are concerned because of the level of global transmission and because cases are cropping up without clear links to one another." Next week, the World Health Organization will try to ascertain whether monkeypox qualifies as a global health emergency.

But the fact that monkeypox spread is a legitimate public health problem worth being somewhat conscious of doesn't make the CDC's fact sheet any less silly.

To some degree, the CDC's job is to give people comically obvious advice like, "if you have open sores on your genitals, don't rub them on someone else's until you've identified what's going on." But we also, in this country, have a hallowed tradition of mocking and ignoring silly, impractical, and crazily obvious CDC advice, like their guidance on steak (don't order it rare or medium-rare!), egg yolks (never consume raw eggs, you're putting yourself at risk for salmonella), and even dental dams (put weird latex or polyurethane barriers between your mouth and the nether regions of the lady you're giving oral sex to!). This is the same agency, after all, that tells the delicate ladyfolk to limit their booze consumption to one standard drink per day.

During the pandemic, though, that tradition went dormant. Many people succumbed to fear and hypercaution—sometimes for good reason, having undertaken a measured risk assessment, other times out of a misunderstanding of their own risk level and how the virus is spread. For the better part of two years, the CDC handed down impractical recommendations, and many people dutifully listened. The agency asked people returning to the U.S. to test themselves in the days after returning from travel (having already been required to test themselves to reenter the country); it pushed double masking in some public spaces (even very well-ventilated ones, like subway cars and airplanes); it handed down guidance which forced people to mask their very young children for the entirety of the school day, despite the fact that we've known for a very long time that young kids are at the lowest risk of contracting severe COVID cases.

Hopefully, the halcyon days of lambasting our nation's public health nannies will soon return, as we collectively affirm that sex is probably better if done in person, with clothes off (or nice lingerie on!), at a range closer than 6 feet—CDC fact sheets be damned. Or, if you're feeling cheeky, you can always don a special outfit to pay homage to our public health overlords while you flout their hypercautious guidance.

Ever wonder how much good the World Health Organization really does? Well, they just changed the name monkeypox to "mpox." Why? Because "the term monkeypox could be seen as stigmatizing and racist," reported Politico.

So now you know how much good the World Health Organization does.
