Immigration Crisis On Display In Springfield, Ohio: It’s Not Just About Haitians Eating Pets

The news cycle has been dominated for the past 48 hours by stories and counter-narratives of Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio seizing and eating residential pets, including ducks and other wildlife seized from public parks.

While the legacy media has yet to find any evidence of pet consumption that it’s willing to accept, there are some much larger issues regarding the crisis that has been created in Springfield through the importation of nearly 20,000 Haitian illegals.

Former Ohio State Representative Kyle Koehler has sounded a warning regarding the consequences that have followed the Biden administration’s policy that gave temporary protected status to more than 100,000 Haitian migrants, including those relocated to Springfield.

🚨🚨 BREAKING:

Former Ohio State Rep. Kyle Koehler (@repkoehler) has made SHOCKING revelations about the illegal Haitian crisis in Springfield, Ohio during a recent speech.

Among the concerns raised by Koehler are the strain on the local school system with more than 1,600 non-English speaking students now enrolled and Haitian refugees who are 20 years old being placed Freshman High School classrooms with 13 year old kids.

Koehler also voiced concern over an individual who is renting his 63 homes to the relocated Haitians for as little as $250 per month, with 20-25 individuals living in each home.

Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) has also weighed in on the controversy, saying that he too has heard from Springfield residents complaining that pets and wildlife were being abducted and that health services are being severely strained by an influx of individuals with communicable diseases like TB and HIV.

In the last several weeks, my office has received many inquiries from actual residents of Springfield who’ve said their neighbors’ pets or local wildlife were abducted by Haitian migrants. It’s possible, of course, that all of these rumors will turn out to be false.

Do you know…

The community of 60,000 residents is clearly facing serious issues related to the open border policies of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

And while political leaders and legacy media strain at the gnat of whether sufficient proof exists that pets are being eaten, they have no problem swallowing the camel of the other unpleasant realities that take place when Third World norms displace local culture.

It’s understandable that citizens are asking their civic leaders, “Where does it end?”

🇺🇸 Springfield City residents are aggrieved by the mass importation of Haitian immigrants into their city:

A Venezuelan émigré gang is wreaking havoc in U.S. communities.

In El Paso, Texas, the Tren de Aragua gang took over a hotel. And in Aurora, Colorado, members of the same Venezuelan gang have been terrorizing residents in rundown apartment complexes.

Tren de Aragua is a “Venezuelan prison gang and … they’ve been wreaking havoc throughout South America … since their inception,” according to Chris Chmielenski, president of the Immigration Accountability Project.

That “havoc” has now come to America.

The brothers of Venezuelan illegal alien Jose Ibarra, the lead suspect in the slaying of Georgia college student Laken Riley, are thought to be connected to the Tren de Aragua gang, the New York Post reported.

Aragua is one of Venezuela’s 23 states, and Tren de Aragua translates to “Aragua Train.”

Members of Tren de Aragua are “getting through some of these cracks that the Biden-Harris administration has exploited because of certain loopholes within our immigration law,” Chmielenski says.

Under Chmielenski’s leadership, the Immigration Accountability Project is working to “hold members of Congress and members of the administration accountable for their actions, votes, and statements that they make on immigration, and to educate the American people on how these immigration issues affect them in their communities,” he says.

Chmielenski joins “The Daily Signal Podcast” to discuss the recent spike in crime carried out at the hands of illegal aliens, and what a new presidential administration could do to address the crisis.

Exclusive — Jim Jordan: Americans Are Witnessing the Consequences of an Open Border

The American people are witnessing the consequences of an open border under Vice President Kamala Harris’s leadership, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, said during an appearance on Breitbart News Saturday, noting that the United States went from a “secure border to no border.”

This week, Republicans in Congress had victims of migrant crime testify, and Jordan described it as “tough to listen to.”

“They were great witnesses, don’t get me wrong. But it was just the terrible things that happened to these three young ladies, and then, of course, the one young man, the son … his mom talked about one time he used fentanyl and it took his life, and he was — it was a good young man — 15-year-old freshman in high school,” he said.

“It’s just powerful stories that underscore what happens when you have an open border. And I tell everyone, literally, we went from a secure border to no border, and you’re seeing it play out,” he said, noting that some of the illegal migrants who have come into the country are on the terrorist watch list.

All of this has resulted in “terrible crime that happened to the families that we had testify this week … and others around the country.”

“And then, of course, you got the situation where you have the stress on your education system, your health care system, your housing market, like we have in Springfield, Ohio, where you have what some estimates are 20,000 Haitians come into a community of 60,000,” he said. “So this is what happens when you don’t have a border, when you have a commander-in-chief and an administration who simply will not enforce the law,” he explained, emphasizing that Harris is at fault, as she and Biden let millions into the country.
