The TEOTWAWK situation above shows why survivalism is not a solution. The militia is the solution. When the British marched on Lexington and Concord to confiscate guns if the patriots would have run off in the woods to be survivalists they would have lost and we would now be ruled by England and have no gun rights.

Once a murdering enemy has been identified go on the offensive and wipe them out. You are much more likely to win with offensive tactics than defensive tactics.
