Ritzheimer and Blaine Cooper left their families at home. Far as we know, the feds went and picked up Blaine Cooper's kids as a negotiating point. The kids were then released to some in-laws after a bit of drama and questioning.

I know personally, I keep my family clear of these things, and someone fucks with them, I rewrite the rules. Someone using their own family as human shields, that has to be dealt with on a case by case basis. I had to walk away from a couple of ripoffs on that, but time will tell when the matter is eventually settled out.
