Per a leftist reporter there are only two women at the refuge. Both of them wives of a couple of the guys.
It may be a situation like I saw years ago when I met the C/O of a Texas militia. Both he and his wife were veterans. Where he went, she followed. If he was in the mud so was she. She always claimed they had each others back...said "if my ol man goes down; I'm going to get the bastard that took him out".
Gotta admire that attitude.
