It is a myth that we haven't been living under inflation all these years. The gov. deliberately skews the numbers to make their pet economic plans look good. The reality is much different. Actual workers pay has been stagnant since the 70's; in many cases it has decreased. On top of that the actual purchasing power of our dollars has decreased as well.
