One thing to keep in mind - we, as a nation, are about to the point of no return. There are those around the world (such as Russia), and within our own boarders, that would love to see us escalate into open civil war. The sooner they can push us into it the better for them.

In my opinion, all our Government would love to have happen would be for militia groups to make a stand for no credible reason and spill blood. This would give them ample reason to clamp down and confiscate firearms.

We need to be especially diligent in dealing with news and intelligence. Perhaps some of the best words of wisdom I've ever been given, in regard to deception, are the following:

Regardless of its form or its venue, deception is all about getting someone to put their faith in something that isn’t true. Deception is much easier to accomplish and much more likely to succeed if the person that you’re trying to fool really wants to believe in the lie that you’re selling. In that case, getting them to go for a lie with all of their heart is a sure thing and doesn’t take much effort at all. As the Doobie Brothers once sang, “What a fool believes, no wise man has the power to reason away.”
