You can bet that if the economy goes Wiemar there will be many unprepared people who will turn in their weapons for a bread crumb. While some will use their weapons to resist. These resisters will be classified as terrorists and a threat to national security. The hungry dumb masses I just mentioned will be more than happy to turn their neighbors in to the gestapo for additional food rations.
