Also, Shanity has been all over this for the past couple of days. He has repeatedly said the "Republican party must maintain control of the Tea party movement and not allow it to morph into a 3rd or independent party. He is now telling the independents and libertarians that they must join the "conservative base" or get out of the way.
Both political parties are scarred shitless of the tea party/freedom movement. They are pulling out all the stops to demonize, divide and destroy it, if they can not control it outright.
