Piper Cherokee Austin, TX, Feb 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) It is unclear as of presstime, where the small plane which crashed into a commercial building in Austin Tx, on Highway 183 in North Austin. Two people are unaccounted for, and people are feared trapped in the building. Several stories of this seven story building are engulfed with flames, and this building houses the CIA, FBI and IRS in the Texas town. They do not have any idea how many people were in the plane. There are reports of injury but the extent is unknown.

The plane is described as onlookers as a “Piper Cherokee.” Experts are trying to determine how such as small plane could hold enough fuel to cause this big of an explosion. A witness saw the blue and white plane, flying very low, barely skimming the road going extremely fast, as though it were on full blast. He said it hit right dead center of where the huge gaping hole is now. He said the explosion was maybe 50 feet wide.

The law enforcement is proceeding on the assumption that this was intentional, “It definitely has all the earmarks of an intentional act” said a police spokesperson, Jim Hall,”Of course all we have right now is eyewitness accounts, and those have to be verified”

The whole front of the building is completely destroyed, much more damage than expected for such a small plane, which makes them suspect explosive may have been on board, but it is all speculatory at this point.

The area has been evacuated, due to the smoke, and authorities are not aware as of yet exactly what may be in this smoke. The scope of the fire, and the damage has caused them to suspect this was a purposeful event.
