Well, here we are again, debating the abilities of the military versus the abilites of the people. We can debate and debate but, victory is reliant upon the hearts of those engaged in battle. Without resources, sustaining a resistance is next to impossible but not impossible. Man, inclined to push forward by the desire to defend his own home has proven throught history to overcome obstacles even without the promise of success in sight.

The reality of the situation is that when the time comes we will make-do with what we have, lack thereof be damned. It serves no purpose to debate a hyopthetical that relies on the calousness of a brother against a brother. Many times throughout our (mans') history our perception of friend and foe has betrayed us.

Let us leave this argument behind for the last time and push forward with an assessment of our current state of readiness and supplies. Those two attributes play a key role in the length of time that we can resist without the need for innovation.

We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!
