I just looked and could find anywhere in the bill of rights that protects the people from government taking someones illegal drugs.
If you cited the tenth, OK but the states gave up those rights long ago.
so buy carrying out these warrants he wasn't breaking the law or going against the constitution.

Now, I think Comifornia allows the use of certain drugs under certain circumstances. that being said, if their local sheriff were to seize drugs from those that are allowed to lawfully have them then I would agree that, that sheriff could not be trusted.
