It's getting harder and harder to tell the players apart. With Iran (and their surrogates, Hezbollah) actively fighting with Assad's forces (who helped the Ba'athists throughout the Iraq debacle), this thing is threatening to reignite the Shi'a-Sunni conflict throughout the Middle East. I really, really don't think that's something we want to get involved in.
