Here we go again.
Bashar Assad is a thug. The rebels are thugs. Neither one of them is worth a single tax dollar, and certainly not a single American life.
On the campaign trail, Trump was criticizing past administrations for meddling in the Middle East with useless wars - and, oh yes, "regime changes." He pointed out quite correctly that past regime changes didn't work out so well. But it looks like he's going down that same road again.
