We just got a pressure canner, and canning supplies this winter. I’m looking forward to putting up garden produce and canning meats. It has always scared me to have all that beef in the deep freeze (1/4 from my brothers farm each year) that would be wasted if we lost power for very long.

Stews, chili, soups, sloppy joes... would be nice to have a few shelves of these on hand... rotate out and keep fresh. Also nice for a “quick meal” rather than expensive and unhealthy other “fast food” options.
