I believe that once the stimulus checks and welfare associated to the governors emergency orders are gone there will be civil unrest and breakdown of society like our generation has never seen before. This socialism agenda of entitled income to everyone who cannot work is actually the only thing that is stopping regular people from participating in the small occurring theme of riots and looting currently associated with BLM "protests". The only solution ANY government will implement is more overreach and laws regarding the future unrest, which I believe will take place soon, as things start to spiral out of control. Collectively Americans overall haven't experienced the personal negative effects of civil unrest or the financial crisis that's about to hit the US economy this next quarter, especially because of the election which drives uncertainty in the stock market. This also applies to the CCP virus where mild inconvenience of masks and social distancing is in our "control" with notions of choice to participate or not. When the choices become limited and supplies become absent, desperation will set in. At this point government will try to use it's constitutional and unconstitutional power to maintain order while also being the cause of such disorder with the effects of legislation and executive orders. When the situation spirals out of control it will be because of governments, local, state, and federal will refuse to rescind emergency orders stemmed from the virus that is hurting local businesses and communities while crashing the economy; in fact they will most likely expand on said orders. Regular folks will then turn to governments for security and protection, which will most likely will be financial stability. This is the gateway for socialism and transfer into communism once the rights are forfeited for the greater good, mainly in part because said actions will not be the solution to reap the correct results. Although this is hyperbolic in nature, it can be a reality very quick if people put all their faith in government and not themselves to prepare for such events to occur within this year. Many speculate the flash point into what will take place that will drive the main populace or the lower income families into desperation. The stimulus bills are this avenue for stability for now, but the stability will only last a few short years as we are spending our 4th generations (that are not born yet) money and taxes. The longer the shutdown, the longer it will take to recover and notably the more it will cost the economy. This will be our downfall.
