In practice, the ATA soonest lobbies in favor of the interests of trucking companies, whose interests are frequently contrary to the interests of the truckers themselves. More basically, the ATA is to truckers what the NRA is to gun owners. As such, these statistics gathered by the ATA are credible. What truckers ultimately mean by “hell no” to vaccine mandates is, however, up for interpretation.
