The WEC issued written instructions which were in direct violation of Wisconsin law. If I recall correctly, the WEC even, on live stream, acknowledged the fact that those instructions clearly contradicted Wisconsin law, and it was therefore the WEC’s willful intent to do so. The Sheriff’s charges should bring an easy victory in court, assuming a reasonable prosecutor, judge and jury. To convict any of the individuals who were carrying out WEC’s instructions would be more challenging.
