A fews years ago Ken was assulted by the Indianapolis(sp) PD. He was stopped for speeding, I think. On the stop the officer wanted to search Ken's pickup. I don't remember if he gave permission, but I know they did search it. They found Militia papers in his truck. So...it got worse. They found his pistol. Being from Mississippi it's OK to carry one in the vehicle. NOT in Indiana!!! He was a terrorist!!! The IPD brought in a bomb sniffing dog that "found a bomb". So...then they had to close the interstate and blow the bomb. The IPD set up some kind of detonation device on the back glass of his pickup camper. They strung out about 20 feet of cord and detonated their device that was supposed to set off Ken's bomb. It blew out the glass on the camper. No bomb was found. Remember this was done at about 20 feet. Detonate a bomb of unknown size from 20 feet away, with no cover??? Right. Anyway Ken was arrested and his guns taken away. Later he was released and I think the charges dropped. He has and will never get his guns back. Nor has the IPD paid for the damage done to his pickup. After he was released from jail he went to get his truck fixed. While at a shop with his truck the IPD came to him again and told him to leave town RIGHT now or face arrest again. Now, last year his house was about 6 miles inland from the Waveland Mississippi coast when Hurricane Katrina hit. Waveland Mississippi and Ken's house was wiped off the face of the earth. The rest of the story is current news, so I won't go into that. This is related from the news broadcast I saw of the incident with the IPD. Our unit also went to help Ken salvage what he could from his demolished home after Katrina.
