Don't tell neighbors is an UNDERstatement. DEFINITELY NOT!

Too many have learned the lesson already - in peace time. Too many have had the warm and fuzzy feelings with a neighbor only to discover how rapidly those "feelings" can deteriorate into animosity.

I know all the rhetoric about getting to know your neighbors. That is the advice one gets when one is advised to prepare for future emergencies. But, it can come up and bite ya in the a$$ real quick. Only them that have BTDT know how quick it can go south.

Save yourself & your family first. Then worry about the neighbors later - if they're still alive or around. Woof!

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot". Mark Twain - 1904
