I'm rigging myself up for mobility. I don't want to be stuck at a "base" of operations unless that base is on wheels with 4wd. Packs, duffles, containers, non-perishables, well sealed, ready to move. If I can get set-up to last a week, that week can be used to prep for the inevitable long haul with natural resources. Not to hide out, mind you. To organize and move operations forward rather than sticking back and trying to protect a cache of survivability in one location.
